3. How long are infected people contagious?
An adult is usually contagious as long as they have symptoms - usually up to seven days following the beginning of the illness. The Spanish Flu epidemic in 1918/1919 killed between 20 - 40 million people. A global disaster and worst recorded in history. Mostly healthy young adults died. The virus was suspected to originate from China, mutated in US and spread to Europe. I think maybe this Spanish Flu helped to end World War 1. So will A(H1N1) helps to end terrorism in our current time? Will all the countries finally make peace because of this tiny virus? Scientists & manufacturers of antiviral are the heros here.
