What a home! After viewing just cant help to ponder on the psyche of MJ, and how he fulfill his dreams. He really is a child at heart. Unfortunately surrounding himself with business associates and doctors who really was only interested in money contributed to his way out weirdness. Isolating himself and keeping his family away from him made it worse . His family tried to help him, they wont harm him but others did. So here goes another talented famous fool who wont get to enjoy his billions.

20 July 2007 - on this day 2 years ago I had my angiogram in UH. Very nervous, scared and anxious. While waiting I took out my "Daily Bread" that I brought along, turned to the page dated 20th July to get some comfort from God and wow I learned that it was the day that man landed on the moon. Not only that, but one of the astronaut had communion on the moon! I realised what a special day I had chosen for my angio and it alleviated some of my fear and anxiety. I will be fine for the procedure.

After a month-long holiday in the US , my wife and I finally boarded the plane in San Francisco last Sunday heading home. As the plane reached cruising speed with the seat belt sign switched off, a 6 ft 3' black man with the build of Mike Tyson in the front row got up from his seat, turned to face the back, raised his arm and yelled, “HIJACK!”Everyone was frozen to the seat, expecting the worst to happen and two stewards were about to jump onto this guy to overpower him when another voice answered from the back of the plane: “HI JOHN!”The moral of the story is: If you have a friend named Jack, for heaven's sake don't ever call him in the plane. Otherwise you may land yourself in deep shit.

Drug addict

I witnessed something shocking at the Pasar Malam in my area. I was there at 7pm and while walking past a VCD stall, saw the VCD seller openly snorting cocaine. He had the white powder on a RM1 dollar-note and snorting it with a straw up his nose! It was in full view of the public and he was not thin like what we perceive drug addicts to be. He must be waiting for his fix. I suspect the drug supplier brings the cocaine to the night market. There must be more addicts there. The amount of porn VCDs sold openly is troubling so there are a lot of crazy sex perverts.

Joey Wang - downfall in the prime of youth

Former Taiwanese actress Joey Wong who retired in 1994 at 26 years old, shaved her head last month and became a nun in Canada. The rumour is she heard of Chyi Chin's marriage, then became a nun in June 09. 
(Update May 2012:  She has been spotted in Canada with a head full of long hair!)

She retired because of her involvement with a HK married man (Peter Lam). Her meteoric rise to fame as an actress was due to him too. The man married with children, divorced his wife to pursue her. This scandal gave her a negative image in Hong Kong. Peter's mother vocally criticised Joey publicly.  Peter's mother should criticise her own son instead. The woman always gets blamed. Joey had to flee Hong Kong and went back to Taiwan.  End of career in HK.

I recalled I was in Shanghai Hilton in 1990 having dinner when Joey walked in followed by this man and sat at the table beside me. The strong perfume was what made me look up to see who she was. Tall, very attractive with a commanding presence and dressed in black, I was surprised she was with a much older man and assumed he must be her manager. I was further surprised when he sat down beside her instead of opposite her if it was a business dinner. She looked happy. She was at the height of her fame.
Sad tale of love. Fame can bring unwanted attentions from married men and being young and vulnerable can be disastrous. 

After this scandal she reunited with her ex-boyfriend Chyi Chin in Taiwan.  (They had broken off when she got entangled with Peter Lam.  Ex-bf Chyi Chin was 7 years older, a singer and spent 3 years in jail during his teen years.)

In my opinion, I think Joey had been suffering from emotional depression for a very long time which could have led to mental issues now. There are even cruel rumours that said she had given birth  to a daughter who is deaf and whom she gave up for adoption nearly 20 years ago.
Young, naive, gullible and unlucky in love... the two men she was involved with contributed to  her downfall.

In happier times with this bad gangster boy!  They were supposed to get married in 1999, when on the eve of marriage she found out that he had a 7 year old son with an (ex-gf or wife?). He hid such things from her?  Deceitful.  Her lovelife bombed again! Love indeed is a gamble of emotions.

(They became romantically involved in 1985.  Finally broke up in 2002.)

Need to leave Taiwan to get over her sadness. Went to Canada.

Whatever the past, let her have inner peace to recover herself.

Update 11 May 2011

51 years old Chyi Chin with newborn daughter Bonnie, born 25th March 2011 in USA with his current wife Sun Li Ya, 27 years old, whom he married in March 18, 2010 in Las Vegas.  Chyi Chin's first child, a son is now 25 years old (from ex Fang Mei Fang).

 He revealed that it was Joey's father who objected to their relationship. So now this scum is putting the blame on her father. Why cant he admit his faults.  Read: Channel News Asia

Joey turned 45 years old on January 30, and posted this surprise picture for her fans.  So she is fine and not a nun.
