Defenceless sea turtles being robbed of their eggs (descendants) off the coast in Costa Rica. Their extinction definitely not due to global warming.
Poor sea turtles. The eggs are collected and sold to be eaten.  More than 30 years ago I too bought Giant Leatherback sea turtle's eggs from a malay colleague who got it from a supplier in Terengganu. Its shell is soft and nothing tasty about it.  That was the first and last time I bought 'cos I felt it was wrong and should not encourage eggs stealing from wild endangered species.
Leave the sea creatures alone.
God created the large sea creatures, and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good.

Read: What's inside First Emperor Qin Shi Huang Ti's tomb

Born 259BC.  Ascended throne at 13.  Died Sept 10, 210BC.
Interesting to read that "rivers of mercury" flow inside this mountain tomb of the cruel delusional megalomaniac emperor and that he was insane from drinking "immortal elixirs" (mercury+herbs); (ancient viagra?)....can cause toxic metal poisoning la..
Chinese geologists tested frozen earth samples from mausoleum  - positive for mercury anomaly while elsewhere negative.
Crazy but he's very much "alive in a different way" for after more than 2200 years....everyone still knows his name.  The Great Wall, terracotta army, are synonymous with his name - great tourist attraction....Hope to visit the Great Wall someday.

Mausoleum took 800,000 workers 39 years to construct. Total area 56.25 sq.kilometers.  Below the 50 meters deep earth is an underground palace where the coffin is placed.

Aerial view of tomb. In geomancy terms (or fengshui) it is located in the eye of the dragon of the Li mountains.  Emperor Qin wants to keep an eye on his country even after death.

In his quest to be immortal, his court physicians concorted chemical potions/elixirs for him which eventually drove him to an early death which was good as he was a cruel tyrant.  Millions of people died in all his construction projects.

"The merciful man does good to his own soul, but he who is cruel troubles his own flesh." (Proverbs 11:17)

The Great Wall aka The longest cemetery in the world.
Workers who died building the Wall were buried under it.  Tens of thousands men were captured and forced into labour. By reckoning the number who died against the length of the wall, it can be said that for every meter of wall is a dead body.  Thats just how many dead souls there are - they are the ancient sentinels of the Great Wall and ancient superstitions believed thats the reason why the Wall stood strong up till today - human sacrifices and dead souls strengthens the construction physically and spiritually.
