11 March 2011 - Japan Earthquake (8.9), tsunami and nuclear plant explosion.
While reading about this disaster today and seeing how the Japanese maintain social order and discipline while queuing up for hours to buy food brought tears to my eyes. There was no looting and neighbours helped and co-operated with each other.  Salute them.  I want neighbours like them.

I was not born yet when the USA dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and has no knowledge what the effects of radiation is all about.  So this time it is necessary to know and read what it is about radiation. 

Looking for an answer to my question:  If you are in a aeroplane sitting next to a radiation-contaminated fellow passenger, can you be exposed to the radiation?  I found this article.

What Radiation Exposure Is
Radioactive materials give off a form of energy that travels in waves or particles. This energy is called radiation. When a person is exposed to radiation, the energy penetrates the body. For example, when a person has an x-ray, he or she is exposed to radiation.

How Contamination Differs From Exposure
A person exposed to radiation is not necessarily contaminated with radioactive material. A person who has been exposed to radiation has had radioactive waves or particles penetrate the body, like having an x-ray. For a person to be contaminated, radioactive material must be on or inside of his or her body. A contaminated person is exposed to radiation released by the radioactive material on or inside the body. An uncontaminated person can be exposed by being too close to radioactive material or a contaminated person, place, or thing.

Kelly Chen miscarried, heartbroken and sad.

Hongkong singer/actress Kelly Chen miscarried her 5 months-old twin girls earlier this month. At 38 years old it is considered risky to carry twins.  Her pregnancy was by artificial insemination/IVF.

While Kelly is sad over the loss, fertile superstar couple; 36 years old Victoria Beckham, and 35 years old David  Beckham are overjoyed and just announced that the baby they are expecting this summer is a girl.

How ignorant and stupid.  Teenage rebellion? Our Malaysian youths - males and females, are really in dire need of proper guidance.  Its not easy to be parents too.

Are our local chinese boys/young men getting more gay...and more stupid....or starved of affection that they fall for sweet talk from a stranger they befriended on facebook?

Imagine the number of young chinese men who might or are now infected with HIV in KL.  This disease will spread because of ignorance and sometimes out of vengence like that casanova.  Some will spread it to their partners/future girlfriends/future wife/future kids.

Some scary facts according to UNICEF:-

For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error. (2 Peter 2:6)

Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the instruction of our God, you people of Gomorrah! (Isaiah 1:10 NIV)

In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. (Jude 1:7)

Court case dropped.  Settlement has been reached with a Public Apology by Darren Choy which will be published in all major newspapers tomorrow.  The shocking news is Darren is also not the biological father of Iking's daughter!!   This shocking fact might be an indicator of how she rose up so fast to success and fame in her career.... her meteoric rise is not  by riding on a meteor.   Just hope her lovers didnt secretly videotape their tyrsts or else more scandalous misery for her.

Some Corporate heads are known to abuse their position - getting sex in return for granting jobs to young women.  (In Daphne's case there was no sexual harassment, she is a very intelligent articulate woman, maybe she fell in love again while being married and made some wrong moves.)

Women please dont be tempted and dont succumb to it. Say no to sexual harassment!  Sexual harassment is a prelude to sexual affairs.
