Bubul bird nest, eggs, hatchlings, fledglings

Bird nest no. 3(July 08)
Many times in the past when I was feeling very down and out, something would happen which would cheer me up. It uplifted my spirits to see new life begins. The bubul bird nested in my tree again on the anniversary of my angiogram. It laid 2 eggs and 2 new birds were added into the environment. New life, new hope.

One of the parent bird with a berry/seed in its mouth waiting to feed the young fledglings.

Bye bye birdie & it flew away. Back into the wild.

The bird, now called a fledgling, ready to fly and leave the nest.

Crouching down. Parents were warning them that I, the camerawoman, is an enemy. Parents will appear whenever I approach the nest. The male bird even attacked me by flying past my face. I could feel its wing pass my ear. It was scary and I screamed. Never knew birds could be so fierce and protective.

Either the mom or dad bird feeding them. Both parents take active part in feeding. Very responsible fathers. Birds dont divorce!

Feathers forming.

Grows very fast.

Very hungry for food. Opens mouth whenever there's movement.

Compare their size with the pencil. Its really tiny.

2 hatchlings hugging. Not a trace of the shells left. Eaten up by mom bird.

The 1st hatchling, so tiny.

After about 2 weeks of incubation the eggs
will hatch.

The 2nd egg was laid next day.

The first egg laid.
