Complicated background. The girl's stepfather Pinot, (who adopted her) is French. She grew up in Hongkong, Austria, Switzerland, England, France. Her biological father is American, an alcoholic and use to beat them up. Her French father is in jail in France for financial fraud. It seems her mother has a criminal case in France - a 18month jail sentence. They returned to stay in Jakarta. It seems Manohara's mother has a lot of debts. Some says she is a con-woman. The prince was to pay her RM600,000/- on marrying the girl but he only paid RM300,000. So this was like a sales transaction, which explains the torture to the poor girl, a slave.
