Pet terrapins

My pet turtles are 10 years old. In mid-1999 we bought them and since Sepang F1 officially launched, we named them after the F1 drivers - Mika Hakkinen (who keeps tortoises too) and Michael Schumacher. Jade Schumacher the turtle laid eggs in Jan 08 but as we kept them in water, the eggs must have been crushed since we only saw broken shells when we cleaned the aquarium. Upon inspection I noticed Jade to be the likely turtle that laid the eggs. I presume Emerald Hakkinen to be male then.
(Mika Hakkinen's pet tortoise perished in a fire at Mika's newly completed mansion in France in May 08 along with all of Mika's racing trophies.)

Turtle's shit...which turtle ate.....see the video.

Update: 19 August 2012
My turtles have grown a lot and the plastic aquarium is too small.

Emerald on the left and Jade on the right.

I turned my turtles upside down to photograph their underside "stomach" shell.  Turtle on top is Emerald's "stomach" shell. The shell is yellow with a lot of black markings.

Jade is the turtle at the bottom. Its "stomach" shell has a more defined black pattern.  The turtles dont like being turned upside down, they immediately push themselves upright again with their strong feet.

Decided to try out this new hobby.
New aquarium and guppies. Bought 4 fish (2 male and 2 female).

The 2 fish with yellow tails are female.  Big stomach!

Black tail and red tail are male fish.

The very next day, the 2 female fish died!
Ten days later the black tail male fish died after I tried scooping the waste product from the bottom of the tank and stirred up a lot of "cloudy" water. Also the live aquatic plant seems to be rotting, not growing healthy, so I removed it and replace with plastic plant. Need to learn how to clean the tank properly. Fed the dead fish to the turtles. Each turtle ate one fish each.  Yummy!

My moss ball which is algae!  (country of origin is Germany, the shop dont have the Japan moss ball)
